Song of Innocents

There is a song that every child knows
Sang when the sun shines or the wind blows
The sun can burn and the wind can flail
Things we most yearn we often fail
Children have the ability to bounce
If not by a gallon but by an ounce
Is it that they haven’t a clue
Is it that they couldn’t be blue
To come back from depths so deep
Yet every night they’d always sleep
I lose sleep now from my things undone
I choose cheap rather then make more fun
It has been a while since I’ve heard the sound
It is silent now and my frustrations mound
Is it that I have grown up to soon
Is it that I have forgotten the moon
Can you believe the moon you see
Is the one seen when you were three
Remembering its size its shapes its shades
Forgetting that sometimes time just fades
Is there ever a time that I couldn’t see
My own reflection staring back at me
When I'm able to remember the child I had been
Then I'm able to sing the song with no words again

Conscience

Listen to the one voice
of whom you can not see
"I've given you a choice
do you believe in me?"
This one voice speaks loudest
when we don't ask a thing.
Our attitudes proudest
when our ears start to ring.

Clairvoyants Prayer

May you be flawless in your conquest
May your conquest be less any flaw

The Fall

Love is to me I can not explain
My greatest love brought my greatest pain
Higher the high the lower the low
My love is gone it hurts me so
The love I once had now I do miss
For love was what gave me bliss
Love and lose then never love at all
Never love, to save me from this fall
---"The Fall"-----

Powerless

The higher the high, the lower the low.
The faster the fast, the slower the slow.
The older the tradition, the stronger the brother.
The newer the generation, the younger the mother.
Life as what it is now is beyond my powers somehow.
I once thought I could do no wrong.
How could it have taken me this long.
I've realized I can't forever be
the gaurdian of everyone near me.

Hero's Warning

You will never win
Until you learn to lose
