Eden's Curse

my name is eden, come to my garden
your love's evil your heart needs to harden
Your love hurts, my heart brakes
My loves gone, your heart shakes
With laughter from the times you didn't care
times when my love and pain you didn't share
is there a way to care any less
is there a way to curse a bless
or bless a curse I need to fix
burning my candle with no wicks
i'm not sure if there was a mistake
for now my heart is quite awake
you can not hurt what can not feel
you can not speak your lips i seal
this is my garden you are welcome
join with me and just be lonesome
if absence makes the heart grow fonder
so if you stay forever with me i wonder
will our hearts love any more
will love be for us a chore
is it easy for us to love company
other loves then you i haven't any
your name is eden, i come to your garden
my love's evil, my heart needs to harden

Unread

As the smoke rises above my head
As I sit behind the shed
Holding a pencil with no lead
Forcing my thoughts to start to shred
All I want is to go back to bed
And dream of the girl I should have wed
So I can hear the words she said
About the life that we had led
Our relationship hung from a thread
That’s when I up and fled
I could have done differently instead
But now the rest will go unread

Through Angel's Eyes

There she was in front of me, an angel only I could see.
Of beauty I could not conceive, but the images made me believe.
So I decided to run to her, the faster I got she became a blur.
I ran and ran until it hurt, I ran, I stopped, I hit the dirt.
I managed to look up and see my angel she was leaving me.
Don’t leave me my true love, Getting up I flew like a dove.
I flew until I caught up to her, but was she my angel I wasn’t sure.
I asked “Why didn’t you wait for me?”
She said “Never did I look back to see
I never thought that there would be
Anyone wanting to chase me.”
That right there made me think, then she was gone by my next blink.
Baffled I did look around; I noticed my feet were off the ground
From behind me I had wings, and on my hands were gold rings
“What is that!?” I heard a voice,
I spoke in song but not by choice.
Then I realized how I flew, for I must be an angel too.
But never did I look back to see,
If anyone was chasing me.

Talking to an Angel

Your memories shine from the shards of my broken hourglass with no sand.
Timeless in their recreation, yet constantly fading on the other hand.
I can not live without you, to relive those times you were with me.
I can not stand without you, there, standing by my side next to me.
You were my confidant, my essences and meaning of life, my all.
I only see me alone, as I stand in front of this mirror on the wall.
Is it your sound, your smell, your touch, your taste or your sight,
That I can not hear, feel, see, smell, or taste; fading in the night?
One who says it's better to have loved and lost,
Forgot that love sometimes comes with a cost.

As I put your picture back on the shelf,
I realize I must forgive, forgive myself.
I have often used God as my scapegoat,
As I don my multi-colorless coat.
My apology I do not want to accept,
Thinking I am less a man; even Jesus wept.
It makes no sense, to try to blame me,
It's not my fault, as far as I see.
We pray to live a life, with no regrets,
Sometimes we pray to help cover those bets.

I watch your memories shine from the shards of my broken hourglass with no sand.
I hold in the tears from the sight of the night in which you took my hand.
The water won't fall from my persistent damning,
Cursing the wall for excuses I'm cramming.
Blaming the fault, to which is my own,
Never forgetting, I'm still alone.
We all are invincible until we die,
Sometimes more even though we cry.
Unable to cope with the worst nightmare, I have ever feared,
Unable to tell you I love you, before your last sand disappeared.

A wise man once told me.

And by the way
Your definition of friend
obviously
is different then mine.
Grow up.

A wise man once told me.

Honesty at times
is a bitch.
When it is, change something.

A wise man once told me.

A true friend will stop you from making a mistake
that
not a true friend will help you make.

A wise man once told me.

Are you single because you drink too much?
or
do you drink too much because you are single?

A wise man once told me.

It's all or nothing
or
it's nothing at all

A wise man once told me.

Always take off your jacket when you go inside.
Otherwise it does not do you any good outside.

A wise man once told me.

I took advice from a 19 year old girl. I'm pretty sure she was wrong. Does that make her stupid? or me?

A wise man once told me.

If death is only the begining,
then life is only the ending.
Therefore; enjoy the ending,
because death has already past.

A wise man once told me.

If everyone loves Thomas Butler Stone,
then no one loves Thomas Butler Stone.

A wise man once told me.

Thank you for being you.

A wise man once told me.

There are worse things then death,
and you are still alive!

A wise man once told me.

When does life really begin?
I'll tell you when it gets here.

A wise man once told me.

I'm not always right,
but I'm not always wrong.
At least I can admit that.

A wise man once told me.

If someone thinks you are too old,
then someone is too young to think for you.

A wise man once told me.

Sex is a lot like snow in Michigan,
you don't always know when you're gonna get it,
and when you do you don't know how long it will last.

A wise man once told me. Again.!

A wise man once told me.

"There is a rhyme to every reason.

But there is not always a reason."

So I guess I'm a fool...I'm not sure if I'm looking
for the rhyme or if I'm looking for the reason.
Which one is eluding me?
Is the wise man a fool?
Or do I have no reason, because I have no rhyme?
Or do I have no rhyme because I have no reason?
So maybe I should make up the rhyme,
and f*&k the reason.

A wise man once told me.!

A wise man once told me.

If you can not solve it by talking,
then you can not solve it by fighting.
